This month, the Christian Science Fiction and Fantasy blog tour is reviewing Beckon by Tom Pawlik.
Due to end-of-the-year school craziness, I didn’t have time to actually read the book. However, in the spirit of the blog tour, here’s some information:

Some things weren’t meant to be discovered. Three people are each drawn to the small town of Beckon, Wyoming. A young anthropologist researches a Native American legend and makes a terrifying discovery. An ex-cop investigating her cousin’s disappearance finds herself in grave peril. And an aging businessman is lured by the promise of a miracle. One by one they discover the town’s ghastly secret. The only question is . . . will any of them make it out alive? (From Amazon.com)
Sounds like a Christian horror in the bent of Mike Dellosso, Frank Peretti, or Ted Dekker. However, don’t take my word for it–especially since I’ve only seen the book cover!

Thanks for doing the intro for now. I’ll look forward to your review once you’ve had time to read the book. This one you may wish to tackle in the light of day. It seems to be receiving high marks in the creepy factor.

Creepy factor, hm? Sounds intriguing. It takes a lot to creep me out. Thanks for the comment.
